Quilting at Trophy Gardens

This morning I wandered into the room that houses the longarm quilting machine and found Gayle Steinbeck and Susan Hudson. Gayle was getting ready to quilt her quilt and was working at the back of the machine following a pattern. This longarm quilting machine is one of the many attractions of Trophy Gardens and is a real plus for those of us who enjoy sewing and quilting. You can see the paper pattern and how you follow it to create the quilting design. Gayle made it look pretty easy! The quilting ladies are working hard to get a new sewing building built with all kinds of fund raisers and even though this season is almost over I know when we all get back next fall there will be more things going on to make this new building a reality.
