On Wednesday, March 11th we met for Hoss Collar. Very nice weather and 37 people came out to play. Karl Pettersen won 1st Place with 699 points, Ray Young won 2nd Place with 673 points and Donna Hanke won 3rd Place with 610 points. Donna’s score sheet was stuck to Ray’s and her score was overlooked and not called out, but she did get her dollar back. It was later discovered among the others. Congratulations Donna! That is an excellent score.
We had several new players and it is not too late to come and learn to play. Right now it looks like the last night that the Lang’s will host is Wednesday, March 25th, anyone who would like to organize the Wednesday night Hoss Collar is welcome to do so and we will loan you the items that you might want to use. On March 15th. ten teams showed up to play pool in the Mixed Doubles pool games.. There were eight games played by each team.. Winning 6 games of the eight played were Lola Wulf & Paul Kelleher. Winning 5 games each were teams Barb Jacobson & Greg Dowhaniuk., Betsie Brown & Elmer Hanke, Arja Tiitto & Jerry Thibodeau, and team Deon Spangler & Jake Jacobson. Come join in on the fun - Mixed Double pool games start every Sunday afternoon at 1:30. A good time is had by all. Be sure to sign-in on the pages by the door.
There were 194 people in church. About half of the congratulation stood when Pastor asked how many were going home this week. The pastor said he could not visit with patients in the hospitals for now due to the virus. Those added to the prayer list and in the hospital are Butch Brooker, Joyce Evans, Kay VandeeStouwe. Don Blasey has been moved to a retirement facility in Mission. Get the prayer wheel spinning for those on the prayer board and those added.
