Bits & Pieces Wednesday 7-29-2020

Howard Koehoorn needs your prayers and now. He was found by Denny Mulder in the driveway next to his truck. He was showing signs of a stroke, so was asked to get a helicopter to fly him to the stroke center in Neenah, Wisconsin. After a CT Scan, they found he has a brain bleed. He had one 8 years ago and this one is worse than the first one. No surgery right now. He is being monitored for now. He isn't very alert but has moved his left side and has said a few words. Cards can be sent to 509 W Brown St., Waupun, WI 53963. Spin the prayer wheel for Howard!!

We have a Like-New Park Model For Rent: September, October, November, and December. If interested call Betsy at 309-344-1583 or Merv at 956-246-2876.

Spin the Prayer Wheel for Howard!!

Stay Safe and Healthy.......

Bits & Pieces Monday 7-27-2020

I want to thank Lynn for her updates for Trophy through the hurricane that just went through South Texas. She let us know when there is live stemming when it was on so we could see the krgv's weather when it was on live. I for one watched Tim Smith and his crew giving updates on the storm.

Again it is with sadness that I let you know of the passing of Harold Henning of Shell Rock, Iowa. Cards can be sent to Margaret Henning, 2521 Butler Ave., Shell Rock, IA 50670.

Some have asked about the population of Trophy now. Lynn reported last week Tuesday that there are: 81 people on 50 sites with 18 pets.

I will be sending out August's Birthday and Anniversary calendar soon. If you want yours added let me know your name and date.

Again thanks to JD and Lynn for their work at Trophy Gardens!!

Stay Safe and Healthy......

Bits & Pieces
Wednesday 7-22-2020

Barb and Jake Jacobson would like to thank all the Trophy family for the cards, phone calls, and especially the prayers for Jake. As I said before we are in a holding pattern while Mayo reviews all his tests on his stoke, do more testing, and then determine if it is worth the risk to do surgery. We will go back in January.

We in Eastern Ontario, haven't seen rain for a good month either, our farmers are also in need of prayers. Greetings from Rudy and Kay Stouwe,
Hastings, Ont.

Thanks to all of the trophy gardens residents for the outpouring of love for my mother, Ivy Pollock, your cards made me and my family stronger to get through this. Thanks again for your support.    Ivy died at her home on Lake Huron after a beautiful sunset with family by her side which she always loved. She did get to read all her birthday cards and made her feel really proud of all her friends especially the cards from the Three Stooges, Marilyn Monroe, and John Wayne.   Again thanks for all your support from Rotten Ron and family.

Stay Safe and Healthy!!
Wear your masks when you go out...

If all goes well the pacemaker will be removed and she will be able to go home tomorrow, Friday.

Let's keep spinning the prayer wheel for all those in the Trophy Gardens family needing our prayers.

Bits & Pieces Tuesday 7-8-2020

Many have been asking about Bev & Jerry McEnaney.

David and Nancy Kuhn sent me an email about Bev & Jerry Mc Enaney.

Just talked to Charn Kuennen, daughter of Jerry & Bev McEnaney.  She told me that both Jerry & Bev, two daughters, sons-in-law, son, and granddaughter all have covid-19.  Bev is still at home but still very sick, lots of aching, nausea, etc.  Jerry on the other hand is in Mayo in Rochester, MN in ICU.  He is not doing well at all and spends 1/2 time lying face down and then on his back.  Getting close to being intubated and is on oxygen.  They are very fearful for him.  Please spin the "prayer wheel" for Jerry as well as the whole family.  Charn's husband had been in the ER due to high fever, others doing somewhat better.  “Please no phone calls”, but would like cards sent to:. Beverly McEnaney 606 East Water street Unit # 2  Decorah, Iowa 52101.  Thanks. David and Nancy Kuhn

Also many have been asking about Coke and Charles Fellenstein. I talked to Charles today and he said that things are about the same. Coke's hearing aids are not working very well so she is having trouble hearing. They are waiting to hear when she will start physical therapy on a regular routine. As usual, things move slowly with the medical things in the Valley. Coke is having trouble walking so she needs therapy to help her get some strength back for walking. The prayer wheel needs to be spinning for the Fellensteins.

Let the Prayer Wheel begin!!
Keep Safe and Healthy!!

Bits & Pieces Tuesday 6-30-2020

Several requests have been made for Leland's obituary.  This is the site: Leland J. Greving - View Obituary & Service Information

From Bev McEnaney: Just a few lines to let you know that Jerry and I both tested positive for the Covid 19 virus.      It is awful - quarantined again...   The doctors all say to drink a lot of water and that is hard to do ---   am spending the days in the lazy boy and the nights in bed tossing and turning...    Have an Oxygen tester because they said anything in the low 90.s or below get to the hospital....   so here we go again....... Spin the prayer wheel for Bev & Jerry.......

Needing prayers for Harry Link as he had a surgery to insert a spinal cord stimulater in his back. Home now and home health care. Keep the prayer wheel going.

Terri Ochs just wanted to let you know that Charity is doing better and home with meds.  Should be able to start physical therapy next week.  Hope and pray for better days ahead!  Stay safe and well everyone!!

Peggy Carnes again asking for prayers for her Son-in-law, David Wagner. Karen Wagner wrote: David is strong and hanging in there. They are struggling to find the problem and get it fixed. He is still in the hospital and nothing by month. He is getting liquid nutrition through a pic IV in his inside arm. Karen thanks you for all your positive thoughts and prayers and virtual hugs. Again keep the prayer wheel going.

Prayer is a Powerful Message. Keep the wheel spinning for our Trophy Family.
