 Bits & Pieces

***My Bluebonnets are blooming. If you want to see them they are on the Northside of my park model. Lot 152. Do not pick them as they will not live. They have to seed themselves to be there next year.

***Congratulations Richard Blake from Nebraska. He had a hole-in-one on #9 Sunday afternoon at our golf course at Trophy Garden! ! Way to go Richard!

***From the park meeting: Lynn gave us the numbers for this week. There are 484 people on 269 sites with 83 pets. *** Lynn said she and JD have been managers at Trophy Gardens for 7 years. They will be retiring at the end of April. We are sad to hear this, but they have earned a retirement too. They have done lots to improve our park as managers.

***Mike Owens is hosting a meeting at 11:00 am in the Sunrise Room for all Veterans to answer questions about pensions for spouses, veterans with need help because of Agent Orange and other topics.

The Hildago County Veteran Services will be there too. Bring any questions you may have about being a veteran.

***There will be a Spring Fling Dance on March 24th. The dance starts at 7:00 pm and the doors will be opened at 5:30 pm. The 3 Amigos will be playing----Ron Mosher-Curt James-Steven May. This is open to the public so don't be late!!

Come out and learn to play and then enjoy those memories during the long summer days ahead. Bring a one-dollar bill (no coins please), and be there by 6:15PM., it is not too late to start a new hobby. See you on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Regular shuffleboard is Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 9:00AM., bring $.30 and be prepared to have a great time. See you!
