Bits & Pieces Thursday 2-27-2020

Trophy Garden Residents are invited to help Coke and Charles Fellenstein celebrate their 69th Wedding Anniversary this Sunday. Come to the hall from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. This is not a private celebration!!

Just a reminder.    Don't forget to buy your tickets for the Pool Hall Banquet on March 4th.    Happy Hour starts at 4:00 and dinner at 5:00.     The last day to purchase dinner tickets is Friday the 28th.  Dinner tickets can be purchased at the Activity Office.

There will be a Rock Painting Class next Tuesday afternoon, March 2, from 1pm-3 pm in the art room. All supplies will be provided, but there will be a $2 charge. Yes, I know that this is the same time as the pool party. There is a sign-up sheet on the Visual Arts Bulletin Board in the hall.

***A couple are looking for a place to rent for the next season. If you have a place to rent, you can contact them: Dennis & Roxie Steding at steding4@hotmail.com

From the Park meeting on Tuesday!! If you missed it you missed a lot of fun!!! We crowned a new King and Queen!! The King growled and the Queen Cried... And you missed the crowning of Frick and Frack. They have nice hats to wear now.  You should see their socks- WOW!!

***631 people in the park on 345 sites with 82 pets.

***There are keys for park models and mobile unites that were kept in the office need to picked up as they can on longer keep them for you.

***Rent for next season can be paid at any time. If paid now you can get the discount rate. No discount after March.

***CFO is doing a food distribution on March 6th. They need lots of help to move 378 cases of food. Meet behind HEB in Alamo. Come at about 9:00 am. Need help after loading the trailers to go to the distributions sites to unload.

Marion Thomas asked me to remind you that Bits & Pieces Happy Hour is March 2nd at 4:00 pm in the hall. There is a card to sign in the Activity Office to sign if you want to.

Mike Owens let us know that the flag burning will be Sunday, March 8th on lot 117. There will be an explanation of the colors and stars on the flag before the burning. I have 2 flags that are in terrible shape and burning is the proper way to get rid of them. If you have a flag that needs to be gotten rid of, bring it to be disposed of properly.
