Another beautiful Wednesday night for Hoss Collar.  We had 62 people show up to play and we can accommodate only 60, so try to get there by 6:15PM at the latest.  January 29th winners were Bob Carlson, 1st Place with 635 points, Karl Pettersen won 2nd Place with 590 points and Chris Lang won 3rd Place with 586 points. 1st Place gets their dollar bill back plus two dollars, 2nd Place gets their dollar back plus one dollar and 3rd Place just gets their dollar back with Honorable Mention.  Two dollars come off the “bottom” for chalk, erasers, pencils, scoreboard washers, etc. Bring a ONE DOLLAR BILL (no coins and nothing bigger than a ONE DOLLAR BILL), we cannot make change. Just the bottom five participants don’t get their dollar back. See you next week weather permitting.

Out of 52 team entries in the Amateur Division, (there were 71 team entries in the Expert Division), Dan and Linda Lang won 2nd Place Consolation playing shuffleboard at Southern Comfort RV Park in Weslaco Thursday. The tournaments are lots of fun and you have an opportunity to test your skills and endurance each week against fellow Winter Texans who live throughout the RGV. If you are interested in participating in these valley-wide tournaments please contact Dan or Linda Lang.

Our annual in-park mixed singles shuffleboard tournament will be Friday, February 14th and Saturday, February 15th, please sign up for this fun and friendly tournament.  There is a $2.00 entry fee and you are guaranteed to play two twenty-frame games. You might have to play up to six twenty-frame games depending on how successful you are.  This would require a commitment of one and ½ days, again, depending on how successful you are.  Only Trophy Gardens residents are eligible to play in our in-park tournament.  Our annual Wilder Corporation tournament will be held Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th.  Please sign up for this tournament as well. All Wilder Corporation parks are invited to participate in this tournament. Join us and be prepared to have a good time.  Any questions please contact Dan or Linda Lang.
