 Bits & Pieces

Wednesday 1-12-2022

To answer the question I asked in the last Bits & Pieces: Last week there were 456 in the park. This week there are 497. We grew by 41 people in our RV Park this week.

***See you at the horse races in the hall at 11 am.

***Bible Study will start Tuesday, January 18 - 3:00 p.m led by Patty Damgaard.

***Marshall and Patty Damgaard thank you for your prayers for our granddaughter Jillian Bailey. An artificial Aorta heart valve was successfully attached to her heart on Dec. 28. After spending 10 days in the hospital she is home. Her energy is slowly returning as her heart adjusts to the valve

***The first pool league game was played here with a Trophy Gardens winning against Alamo Rec 34 to 15!! Way to go guys......

***Lynn let us know that there is a 4% rent increase for next year. The rate sheets are available.

***I hope many of you will come to the Worship on Sunday “Remembering” our Trophy Family that have passed away in the past year. Worship starts at 9:30 am.

***For Sale: G E clothes washer and dryer. Can be seen on lot # 350, call 308-991-9299.

***Kansas Pot Luck on Monday January24th from 4 pm to 6 pm. There is a sign-up sheet in the Sun Rise Room.

***John & Sharon Solsma are looking for a place to rent for one to two months in Trophy Gardens. If you have a place to rent call 712-261-0352

*****If there are any veterans in the park who do not have their picture on the Veterans Wall, we would like to invite you to bring a picture to the office. It does not need to be a military picture if you don't have one. It can be any size or shape. We will make a copy of the right size and shape and give the picture back to you. Be sure to write your name on the back of the picture and what branch of the service you were in and when. Call Sara Daggett if you have any questions. 920-213-7381.

**************************************************************The residents of Trophy Gardens Resort have a history of bringing blessings to many people in the Rio Grande Valley that are in need. As a means of continuing that giving spirit, a missions effort has been formed to give all the people within the park an opportunity to help some of the people outside the park.

This ministry, under the auspices of the Trophy Gardens resort Church Board, will conduct activities that will raise mission money to be shared with area ministries that work to support those in need.

The first activity will be a Potato Bake on Tuesday, February 8th, which will provide a baked potato with your choice of toppings delivered to your residence from 4:30-5:30 pm. All for $8.00. As a bonus, a cookie will also be provided.

For more information, or to sign up to help in this project, contact Lynn Massingill-lot 721 540-533-6240 or Linda Svenby-lot 695 218-261-0834.

Thank you ahead of time for being awesome people, in an awesome park, seeking to support missions for an Awesome God!!!

Pastor Randy

Take Care!!
